Shakespeare in the Woods (work in progress)
Rae loves to sit in the tree where Matthew comes to read Shakespeare to his dead twin. When his girlfriend Tanlyn tromps up in the woods for a visit, Rae wasn't surprised to find the girl ruined the moment, but she should have been shocked to see Matthew murder her. And yet, she wasn't.
Jack (work in progress)
Charlie's best friend is Jack. A Belgian malinois, Jack was trained to sniff out bombs and sent to Afghanistan to work with Charlie. He was by her side on ice cold nights, during firefights, and rescued her when she lost her legs. The same IED that took away Charlie's will to live stole Jack's hearing, sending them home together to cope with their loss. It's only when a hurricane hits home that Jack helps Charlie realize she still has a lot to live for.
Argent Glass (available on WattPad, 2019)
Andrew and Evan are best friends who discover the government is enforcing a satellite blackout and implementing a no fly zone over a portion of the New Mexico desert near their homes. Being conspiracy theorists and confirming the site isn't a military base, the boys wonder if it could be another Area 51. Together they head off into the desert mountains to investigate. Even after Evan is scared off by a helicopter with armed soldiers, Andrew is adamant in continuing on to discover what secret would be so important it would require men with guns to protect it. Dr. Carrel is a scientist involved in researching the effects of GMOs on the human body. When his pregnant wife dies suddenly of a disease young healthy women are rarely afflicted with, he becomes obsessed with understanding what killed her. Discovering his research company has had a hand in his wife's early demise, he starts out on a quest to expose them, putting himself on a collision course with Andrew and the men tasked with securing the facility. Someone isn't going to make it out alive.
